Special Firefighting Procedures: Do Not Use Water.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards: Drums heated by fire can explode.
SECTION 5-REACTIVITY DATA
Stability: Stable Hazardous Polymerization: May occur through oxidation, leading to exothermic reaction. Heat generated by oxidation may lead to
spontaneous combustion of materials such as rags, paper towels, etc., used for clean-up
Hazards Decomposition Products: Carbon monoxide possible if burned. Incompatibility (Materials to Avoid): Strong oxidizers.
SECTION 6-STORAGE AND HANDLING INFORMATION
Combustible liquid. Avoid contact with heat, spark or open flame. Eye irritant. May cause skin irritation. Keep out of reach of children. For use by trained personnel only. Keep
unauthorized personnel away when applying to floor. Keep container closed during storage. For institutional and industrial use only. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.

Effects of Overexposure:
Skin: Prolonged or repeated contact may cause irritation, defatting, or dermatitis.
Eyes: Eye irritant. May cause redness, swelling, or blurred vision.
Inhalation: May be irritating to the nose, throat, and lungs. Prolonged breathing can
cause headache, nausea, dizziness, weakness, and fatigue. Some reports have associated
repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and
nervous system damage.
Ingestion: Can cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract, nausea, vomiting, and
diarrhea. Aspiration of material into the lungs can cause pneumonitis.
Other: May cause liver damage and/or kidney damage.
Contains ethylbenzene, which has been determined by NTP to be an animal carcinogen
with no known relevance to humans. IARC has classified ethylbenzene as possibly
carcinogenic to humans (2b) on the basis of sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity in
laboratory animals but inadequate evidence of cancer in humans.
Respiratory Protection: NIOSH approved hydrocarbon cartridge or self-contained
apparatus when used in enclosed areas.
Ventilation Requirements: Provide local exhaust to keep TLV of Section 2 in-
gredients below acceptable limit. Open doors and windows when handling and during
drying period.
Protective Gloves: Solvent proof rubber recommended.
Eye Protection: Safety glasses recommended.
Other Protective Equipment: Eye wash station should be available nearby. Protective
clothing and footwear (rubber boots) when using on floors.
First Aid Procedures:
SECTION 9-SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES
Skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash with soap and water. Seek medical attention
if irritation persists.
Eyes: Flush with large quantities of water, holding eyelids open. Seek medical attention.
Inhalation: Get to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Seek medical attention
if symptoms persist.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately.
Steps to be taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled: Shut off all ignition
sources. Ventilate area well. Floors will become slippery. Avoid walking in product.
